{"id":1905,"date":"2019-04-30T17:07:53","date_gmt":"2019-04-30T16:07:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/inmunologia.webs.uvigo.es\/?p=1905"},"modified":"2019-05-27T18:09:28","modified_gmt":"2019-05-27T17:09:28","slug":"the-immunology-group-is-part-of-the-aerogels-cost-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inmunologia.webs9.uvigo.es\/?p=1905","title":{"rendered":"The Immunology group is part of the AERoGELS Cost Action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Horizon2020-funded<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cost.eu\/actions\/CA18125\/#tabs|Name:overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <strong>COST Action (ref. 18125) AERoGELS <\/strong><\/a> was launched in Brussels and <strong>36 countries<\/strong> have confirmed their participation.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>42 members of the Management Committee have participated in the <em>kick-off<\/em> meeting of the project entitled <strong>Advanced Engineering and Research of aeroGels for Environment and Life Sciences<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1909 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/inmunologia.webs.uvigo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/GroupPhotoCOSTAction_AERoGELS-300x108.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"189\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>AERoGELS<\/strong> is intended to bring together the knowledge on research and technology of aerogels at the European level from academia, industry and regulatory experts.<\/p>\n<p>The full potential of these special class of nanostructured mesoporous materials are still to be assessed for various additional applications.
